Microdermabrasion

A superficial resurfacing treatment, microdermabrasion rejuvenates and restores skins natural glow by reducing the appearance of fine lines, age spots and large pores. A non-surgical, safe procedure requiring no anesthetic, the gentle abrasion or “polishing” process takes from 30 minutes to one hour. If indicated, a mild glycolic peel can be applied after the treatment for an added “”wow” factor. Normal activity can be resumed immediately following the procedure. A series of 4-6 treatments at 1-4 week intervals is recommended for best results.
Chemical Peel
Photo-aged, hyper-pigmented, or dull, acne skin can be characterized by the accumulation of dead cells on the skin surface, irregular activity of sebaceous glands, and slowed-down cellular renewal. Such skin does not regenerate quickly enough. The signs of aging and various imperfections become more visible.
We use glycolic, salicylic and retinoic acid peels to allow the exfoliation of dead skin cells. This helps reactivate cellular renewal. The result: smooth and radiant skin.
A series of 2-6 peels, at 2-4 week intervals is recommended for best results. The procedure itself lasts about 20 minutes depending on the area treated. After the treatment the area may appear pink or red and feel like sunburn for up to a day. Cool compresses may be applied. Superficial peeling of the skin may be noticed. All skin types and skin colors can be safely treated.
